The before

I attained my BA in Industrial Design in 2008, a great time to enter the work environment, and after much looking I landed a position as a junior in a small marketing firm dedicated to creating promotional materials. From small POS/POP to grand stands and parade float carts for the bicentennial in Mexico city. They really did dabble in everything from costume making to a massive stage for a Christmas festival Coca-Cola threw. For a junior position it was very much the definition of hitting the ground running. I learned a lot from them, and though I don’t keep any of the projects I did with them around, they provided the basis of what I designed later as I moved onto different firms.
